• Flexible Map Reading Lights
• Reading Spots
• LED Strip Lighting
• Standard LED Down Lights
• Dimmer Switched LED Down lights
• Allowing you to create the preferred ambience in your newly trimmed Campervan.
Split Charge Systems
Camperliners supply and fit leisure batteries & split charge systems using either of the following 2 charging systems
1. Voltage Sensing Split Charge Relay
2. Electronic DC to DC Battery Charger
If your vehicle engine is compliant to Euro 5 or 6 emissions standards it will almost certainly have a ‘Smart Alternator’. If this is the case you will need to install an electronic DC to DC Charger to safely and efficiently charge your leisure batteries. In all other cases, a split charge relay charging system works perfectly well.
All our Split charge systems come complete with fuse box ready to connect all your 12v equipment.
Leisure Batteries
If you need a leisure battery to power low voltage lighting and to charge devices then a good quality Maintenance Free Sealed Lead Acid type of battery will be sufficient to suit your need.
Camperliners also offer a range of Lithium Ion Batteries which have a much better capacity for a long term reliable working life for serious campers who spend a lot of time in their vans and need a reliable power source to power a wider range of appliances like fridges, heaters and in van entertainment. There are many advantages of this type of battery: –
They are half the weight and far smaller, so you can maximize your power in the available space.
Great value for money, with approximately 20 times more charge cycles for only 5 times the price.
Built in safety protection for temperature and current over loads.
The ability to fully discharge without damaging the cells (Traditional battery types only permitting maximum 50% discharge before damage can start to occur)
Mains Hook Up
This gives you the ability to safely connect your campervan to a campsite’s 240v power supply with your own RCD and circuit breakers on board. 240v power sockets are wired in to the system and mounted on your van’s interior lining panels giving you the flexibility to power 240v equipment when hooked up. Include a mains powered leisure battery charger to keep your power supply correctly maintained.
Solar Power
Camperliners only use well respected brands for all electrical equipment, all Solar Panels and Charge Controllers currently supplied are manufactured by Victron Energy and use the latest in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) Solar charging technology, with the option of Blue tooth SMART connectivity so you can monitor the performance of your panels from day to day.
