Whilst completing the carpet lining of your ceiling panels, it is an ideal opportunity to install campervan electrics, such as some additional lighting. We have some very smart brushed steel down lighters, each incorporating a touch sensitive switch that has a dimmer function, allowing you to create the preferred mood in your newly trimmed interior. Stylish reading spots and strip lights are also available.
A mains hookup gives you the ability to safely connect to a campsite’s mains power supply with your own RCD and circuit breakers on board.
240v power sockets are wired in to the system and mounted in your panels giving you the flexibility to power 240v equipment when hooked up. With the addition of a mains leisure battery charger you can be confident there will always be enough power for your 12v systems when hooked up.
Camperliners supply and fit leisure batteries & split charge systems along with 12v sockets that can be mounted in your panels. The batteries are of a special low height so can fit under the seats of most vans.
A solar panel can be mounted to the roof of your van to keep your battery fully powered off grid. They vary in size depending on your power consumption requirements; as a general rule of thumb an 80 Watt panel will add between 30 to 35 Amps per day to your leisure battery in ideal conditions.
